Safran Restaurant, an Istanbul classic since 1998 which serves at the roof of Ceylan InterContinental Istanbul, now welcomes its guests with a refurbished decoration and a novel menu.

Being thoroughly re-decorated by Iraz KUTLAR, Safran Restaurant makes it much more pleasant to view the magnificent Bosphorus panorama, thanks to the cool, comfortable and elegant ambient thereof.  Within the friendly atmosphere of beige and light brown tones, large windows enable the sight of entire view in each point of the restaurant.

What’s new in the menu...

Regenerated menu of Safran Restaurant includes diligently selected meals from Ottoman and Turkish cuisines. From Palace Mantı (Turkish type ravioli) to Tandoori soup, from wrapped Kebap to Reştiyye, from Gum Stewed Lamb to Calf shank with vegetables, from Halva-yi Hakani to Noah’s pudding with gum, a plurality of traditional specialties of Turkish and Ottoman cuisines are revived by Safran Restaurant, where gourmets and sophisticated ones will meet.
